There are so many moments that led us here, but one of the most important is the story of how we met.
I remember it like it was yesterday, I was invited to attend a party that was being held for a friend of mines at crystal lounge, at first I wasn’t sure if I would attend because I had been working all day and was extremely exhausted. Well I decided to go on ahead and attend, I went to the party with my best friends Jide and Clemente who both happen to be my best men in the wedding. We were partying, grooving and relaxing and just when I thought it was ok to stand up and leave my seat, this beautiful young lady and her friend politely sits in my recently vacated seat. I realized then that I had two choices, one find another seat or two use this as an excuse to start a conversation with her and her friend, it’s obvious that I chose option number two. Once I sat down I realized I was looking at one of them earlier when I was scoping out the scene, she was sitting in VIP looking all good and stuff. Well we had good dialog but the conversation was more so between me and her friend, her friend looked nice but Claudia blew me away and I knew I had to make a move. I called my friend Jide over and asked him if he could be my wingman, he agreed and occupied her friend for me and I must say the spark was there immediately. We talked, we danced then I asked for her number and we’ve talked every night since July 8, 2011, I’ll never forget the day I met my wife to be.
So where do I start...I guess from the beginning, lol. I just recently moved back to Houston from completing my undergrad at A&M Corpus-Christi. One of my real good childhood friends and a friend from college invited me to a party they were having. At first I was not too sure if I wanted to go because I did not want to drive to the party alone, but luckily for me a group of my friends who knew the people having the party all wanted to go. We finally arrived at the party and we were all having a good time in the VIP section. A friend of mine decided we should go to the main dance floor for a little bit, finally after a while of dancing we decided to take a seat. Little did I know I was sitting in the seat of my future husband. As my friend and I continued to small talk, he turned around to sit in his seat and said “oh, so you just gonna take my seat,” but being a gentleman he politely let us sit there and he sat in the seat right next to my friend. Next thing I knew we all were engaging in a good conversation, and a song I really liked came on, so myself and Damilare danced to the song. Eventually after dancing and talking the night away, he finally asked me for my number and the rest is history.
The engagement was one of the most magical moments in both of our lives. We're lucky enough to have recorded some of these moments, and we're happy to share them with you!

Adult Invite Only Reception immediately following ceremony.
Dress Code: Formal attire, or Nigerian formal attire.
